Understanding Markets Through Macroeconomic Patterns
Most traders chase price movements without grasping what actually moves markets. We focus on the bigger picture—central bank decisions, fiscal policy shifts, and global capital flows that shape trading opportunities months before they materialize.

Policy-Driven Analysis
Learn to interpret monetary policy statements and fiscal announcements that telegraph market direction. We break down how rate decisions, quantitative measures, and government spending translate into tradable scenarios.
Capital Flow Tracking
Money moves between markets for reasons that aren't immediately obvious. Understanding cross-border investment patterns and institutional positioning gives you insight into where price is likely headed next.
Economic Cycle Context
Different strategies work in different environments. We teach you to identify where we are in the cycle and adjust your approach accordingly—expansion requires different positioning than contraction.

Why Macro Matters More Than Technical Patterns
Chart patterns can tell you where price has been. But they can't explain why central banks are shifting policy, or what happens when sovereign debt markets start repricing risk.
That's where macro analysis comes in. When you understand the fundamental forces moving trillions of dollars across global markets, you stop reacting to price and start anticipating it.
- Identify structural shifts before they show up in price action
- Recognize when market consensus is wrong about economic trajectory
- Position yourself ahead of major policy-driven volatility events
- Connect geopolitical developments to specific trading opportunities
- Build conviction in trades based on fundamental probability, not hope
Our autumn 2025 intensive program runs from September through November, giving you three months to build a complete macroeconomic analysis framework. Sessions are scheduled for weekends to accommodate working professionals.
How We Approach Market Education
We don't teach trading systems or promise guaranteed returns. What we do is show you how to think about markets from a top-down perspective—starting with global economic conditions and working down to specific trade ideas.
The curriculum covers monetary theory, fiscal policy mechanics, currency dynamics, and how institutional capital responds to changing conditions. You'll learn to read central bank communications, interpret economic releases in context, and understand what moves markets beyond short-term noise.
Real-World Cases
We analyze actual historical episodes—2008 crisis, European debt situation, COVID policy response—to show how macro signals translated into market outcomes.
Live Market Discussion
Each session includes analysis of current economic conditions and what they suggest about near-term market direction across asset classes.
Framework Building
You'll develop systematic processes for evaluating new information and updating your market outlook as conditions evolve.
Research Resources
Access to data sources, policy documents, and analytical tools that professional macro traders use to inform their positioning.
Saoirse Thorne
Independent Trader, TaipeiI'd been trading for years using technical analysis with mixed results. After taking the macro course in late 2024, I finally understood why certain setups worked and others failed. It wasn't about the chart pattern—it was about whether the underlying economic environment supported that kind of move. Now I filter every trade idea through a macro lens first. It's made a real difference in how I approach markets.
